Protein-protein interaction of Wag31 molecules by the yeast two-hybrid system. The pJZ4-G and pHZ5-NRT clones with each wag31
allele were individually transformed into the RFY231 and the Y309 strains, respectively. Four independent colonies from each transformation were mated, and reporter phenotypes for protein-protein interaction were determined by quantitative measurements of β-galactosidase activity using the Yeast β-Galactosidase Assay Kit (Pierce).
