In silico analysis of EupR and its putative cognate histidine kinase. (A) EupR is a two-component response regulator of the NarL/FixJ family of proteins. Neighbor-Joining tree based on proteins with a common LuxR_C-like conserved domain. The tree is drawn to scale, with branch lengths in the same units as those of the evolutionary distances used to infer the phylogenetic tree. All positions containing alignment gaps and missing data were eliminated only in pairwise sequence comparisons. Bootstrap probabilities (as percentage) were determined from 1000 resamplings.
